SCHOOL HOUSE SYSTEM

Each school follows different rules to imbibe values like co-operation, honesty, victory in students.

The students of the school are divided into 4 Houses, each at the Primary,Middle and Secondary level. The House is managed by Housemasters. The Housemasters select House Captains,Assistant House Captains and Sports Captains. It is compulsory for every student to be a member of a House. The main idea of the House System is to inculcate in our students the essential qualities of leadership, team work,co-operation, mutual understanding and self reliance. Various inter-house activities are held for this purpose throughout the year.

The various houses are as follows:

AGNI HOUSE : Fight for what you believe

The Red Color: Its depicts VICTORY. The values given here are that students should have a competitive spirit and should try and win all the tasks given to them. Like they should have a competitive spirit in life.

PRITHVI HOUSE : Let truth be your guide

The Green Color: Its depicts HONESTY which imbibes in students to do all the given duties with utmost honesty and should not deceive anybody in life.

JAL HOUSE : Dare to think differently

The Blue Color: Its depicts Bravery which inculcates in student that they should not fear any given situation in life and should face all the situation upfront and with utmost bravery.

VAAYU HOUSE : In union is strength

The Yellow Color: Its depicts WISDOM which teaches students to be wise and kind to every being on the earth and to treat everyone equally.

In this manner, all these HOUSES inculcate good moral values among the students. Various events in which the students take part throughout the year are Declamation, Spellathon, Debate, Singing , Quiz , ICT related competition etc.

HOUSES SHALL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING DUTIES IN ROTATION:

·       To manage the morning assembly.

·       To write the three news concerning international, national and sports events and also a'thought for the day on the blackboards meant for the purpose.

·       To deliver the 'thought' in the form of a short speech in the assembly.

·       To check the late comers and mark them in the late comers register.

·       To help maintain order during the recess period.

·       To look after the general cleanliness of the school.

·       To check the student uniforms.

·       Participate enthusiastically in all intra-house and inter-house contests.

·       To be proud of own house and always work for its healthy traditions.

·       To help maintain discipline on the occasion of the school function.

·       To help the authorities in organizing various school functions and making suitable arrangements for them.

·       To contribute effectively to the beautification of the campus.
