Disaster Management can be defined as the organization and management of resources and responsibilities for dealing with all humanitarian aspects of emergencies, in particular preparedness, response and recovery in order to lessen the impact of disasters.

The Mantra to combat a disaster is - ‘Be calm, don’t panic’. Our disaster management club has been working on training programmes for faculty and students on First Aid, Rescue measures, Emergency Evacuation Plan and Usage of Fire Extinguishers. Various activities undertaken by the club are Road Sign making, Poster making and conducting mock drills on a regular basis.


The Sports Club has been established to inculcate in the students dedication, sportsman spirit, patience and continuity and to guide them how to balance mental and physical energy of an individual.

The club organizes Sports day on 14
th and 15th November every year. Various activities are undertaken by the club like playing games, Mass P.T., Aerobic exercises, Gymnastics, drills and practicing Yoga.

The art of practicing yoga helps in controlling an individual mind, body &soul. It also enables the students to manage stress & anxiety & helps in increasing flexibility muscle strength & body tone. The essence of yoga is to make the process of life as efficient & enjoyable as possible.  


Club activities invite student’s enthusiasm in various areas including value education and acquiring general knowledge. They also enhance the social interaction and awareness of the world around them.Students have hands on experience in organizing programmes for younger students, extra-curricular activities, implementation of school rules and regulations as well as connoting the voice of the students at school.


The club has been established to provide students with a platform to promote conservation of the natural and built heritage of our nation. The club focuses on creating awareness about rich heritage among the students, to discover the culture of our country, India, as well as other heritage sites around the world,  to understand aspects of our Indian civilization and to develop respect for all heritage locations, buildings,crafts, festivals, religions.

The Activities Undertaken by the club are:

·       Visit to various heritage sites

·       Inter House Quiz competitions

·       Organize workshops by expert resource persons

·       Organize special assembly


To boost their learning understanding interestingly, different clubs are offered like Science Club, Math Club, and Heritage Club which inspire the children to involve in different activities.They develop special skills to take up different Projects, Outdoor Activities and Quiz Programmes. They learn with greater interest and come with their originality, creative and innovative skills.


The Art Club is an interactive and innovative club that brings out the full potential of the creative young minds. The club regularly helps in decoration and design related tasks for various school programmes and activities. It builds the spirit of team work, originality and novelty. The club focuses on many hobby works regularly like wall hangings, table tops greeting cards, embroidery works,pearl designing, paper art, painting and colouring etc.

The Art Club creates an amiable, vibrant, and exquisite atmosphere on the school campus. The club conducts events like Rangoli Making, Clay Modelling, Poster Making and Display Board decoration, Best out of waste, Origami to name a few. 


The Youth Parliament Club provides students a platform to enhance and enrich a sense of Parliamentary debating style. The purpose of the club is to train the students in the same. 
The already trained and experienced members of the group introduce the entire concept of having the Youth Parliament sessions for school children through various orientation sessions. They also explain the scope and importance of this programme in building the capacities and abilities of the students through various debates and discussions in a Parliamentary format.

The Youth Parliament programme helps the students to get trained in leadership skills. Keeping this in mind, auditions for the same are held and portfolios and constituencies are given to the students who are interested in the Club activity.


'Sahitya'- Hindi Club is responsible for keeping the young writers and poets alive within the academically oriented students of today's times. The club performs the dual role of promoting Hindi and providing a conducive environment for the literati to express themselves. It organises various competitions which include but are not limited to Poetry recitation, Poetry writing, Story writing, Storytelling, Skits etc. The club has prepared many students for competitions at various levels, ranging from Inter-school level to Zonal level and to National levels who have brought laurels to the school.


The aim of the club is to inculcate among students a love for language and enhance their literary skills and instilling in them confidence to express themselves fully.The club makes conscious efforts to enhance the communication skills of our learners through activities like debate, extempore, JAM, story – telling, role play, poem recitation and many more. Through these activities, the learners get exposed to an opportunity to voice their thoughts.

The Club will provide a platform for:

Debating :- To encourage students become orators to display their intellectual and independent thinking skills and imbibe a sense of confidence.

Speech and Drama:- To promote communication skills of students and help in team work ,ability to speak and emote before an audience thereby increasing the emotional quotient of the students.

Journalism:- To promote the ability to organize and analyse the available resources and adopt technological advancements to present ideas, creativity and artistically.


The club focuses on generating awareness about various lifestyle diseases, their detection and prevention. The goal of the club is to inculcate healthy eating habits in students, sensitise them towards the benefits of physical activity and promote community based education programmes of personal cleanliness and hygiene.

Diversified health promoting activities planned by the club are:

1.     Basic health screening from time to time, imparting information about various diseases prevailing in a particular duration of the year and various preventive steps.

2.     Conducting FIRST AID classes to impart basic information and application of FIRST AID.

3.     Celebration of different health  days.

4.     Conducting various workshops and awareness talks.

5.     Various competitions like poster making, quiz, PowerPoint presentations, just a minute,street plays etc.



Environment club is the heart of school’s sustainability activities and thus helps to achieve meaningful change in the society. The Club inspires, motivates and gives students opportunities to build leadership skills. The club gives students the platform they need to take action on the environmental issues they feel passionate about.

The Club is dedicated to environmental  awareness activities related to protection, conservation,preservation, and restoration of Natural resources. Many activities are conducted throughout the session to help the students  realize the present day need to save environment and promote the idea of ‘afforestation’. Planting saplings, nature walks, collection of different types of plants, leaves, insects and building nests for the sparrows, to name a few.

Emphasis is on educating peers about harmful effects of Poly-bags, Holi colours and Firecrackers. Techniques of Waste management and specially E-waste is also highlighted.
